The CA Boom Design Show, the West Coast’s leading contemporary design trade show and exhibition, is set to debut at Fall Market 2008. And word has it that its first-ever East Coast show, CA Boom EAST, is luring exciting new design talent to High Point.

CA Boom EAST will run concurrently with the High Point Market, from October 20 through 26, 2008, in a new flexible showroom space at Mill Village located at 1014 Mill Avenue, High Point, NC. Currently, 14 exhibitors have confirmed their presence at the show, many of which will be exhibiting in High Point for the first time.

As we all know, color innovation usually originates in the European fashion houses, which tend to be less influenced by the current trends. The colors then make their way into “U.S. couture,” followed by ready-to-wear and finally, home furnishings.

Mark your calendars! Hamilton Wrenn Design District will again play host to “Tuesday Uptown” during the Fall High Point Market on Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Catering to interior designers and buyers, the Design District’s high-end home furnishings member showrooms will on that night provide complimentary food, drinks and entertainment from 4 pm to 7 pm in the Hamilton Wrenn area.

For those as yet unfamiliar with the Market neighborhood better known to insiders as “The District,” the Hamilton Wrenn Design District is a coalition of showrooms in the Hamilton Wrenn area of the High Point Market that work together to provide a superlative and sophisticated shopping experience for Market guests.
